The House

Three rooms of the atelier

Each collection is small, numbered and archived. When a design sells out, it retires to the vault.

The Manifesto

Five things we believe about cloth.

Read the full manifesto
01

Neutral is not nothing

Bone, ivory, sand and deep teal. We chose a palette that behaves like candlelight — flattering at twenty and at seventy, in photographs and in memory. Colour should serve the woman wearing it, never compete with her.

02

The hand is the signature

Every Silver Leaf piece passes through human hands at least forty times — tying, weaving, cutting, couching, setting. We do not apologise for the time this takes. The time is the luxury.

03

Heirloom is a specification

A poshak is bought once and worn for decades. We line for re-lining, finish seams for alteration, and keep records of every zari lot, so a piece can be restored by us thirty years from now.

Patron Reflections

Worn, then inherited

"
The poshak arrived in a muslin chest with a note about the eleven artisans who made it. My mother cried before I even opened it.

I have worn my Chanderi tissue saree to three weddings and one book launch. It has never once been the wrong thing.

They rebuilt my grandmother's gota border into my bridal odhna. It is the only thing I own that I would call priceless.
